HIGRADE is a graduate school for doctoral candidates at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ together with its partner universities: Universität Leipzig, Martin-Luther- Universitä t Halle-Wittenberg, Technische Universität Dresden, Friedrich-Schiller- Universitä t Jena, Technische
Universität Bergakademie Freiberg and Universität Kassel. It provides a structured qualification as supplement to the individual research work by enhancing interdisciplinary research of the candidates.
